Diary of a Former Sex Addict and his Wife

For 15 years of our marriage Mr. P was a sex addict.

We've come a long way since D Day.  We would never have thought we could ever say that our marriage is WAY better now than it was before the addiction was discovered, but it IS way better.  Of course, that doens't mean we're holding hands singing Kum Ba Ya every minute of every day.  There's still pain sometimes.  There's still triggers.  We've come a long way, baby, but we still have a long way to go.

We've been online looking for advice ourselves and so far we haven't found any stories like ours.  Most end in divorce or are plaqued with unresolved bitterness that goes on for years.  Most advice is dripping with religiousity.  We are not relisious people.

​

So we decided to create this blog with our own stories of how we're getting through this, and hopefully we can help just one other couple get through the trauma.
